I am available for short- and mid-term projects, from the development and design of company websites to the creation of content-managed systems. I specialise in the open source Drupal content management system, which has been used for websites from whitehouse.gov to Amnesty International. I have a sound knowledge of PHP and other programming lanaguages, and can thus provide custom functionality, including the development of client-specific modules for Drupal. I can also promptly create themes for this and other content management systems such as WordPress, in which I built the Convention on Modern Liberty's highly-acclaimed site.

Skills

- Proficient in HTML, XHTML and XML, and consistently write valid markup.

- Experience designing websites for varied organisations - up to date with modern design principles and CSS techniques.

- Sound knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, C, and other programming languages.

- Competent in wide variety of software packages, including Adobe Creative Suite (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Fireworks, InDesign)

- Experience with website maintenance, including standard UNIX command-line clients.

- Have managed projects with disparate organisations, setting up project-management systems.
